Specify the open bag and the folded package
A foldable bag has two product states. The open bag must carry the intended contents, while the folded package must be compact, understandable and easy to deploy. Both states need dimensions, construction and artwork decisions.
Benshine’s foldable bag references provide starting points for development. Final material, load expectations, fold method and commercial terms are confirmed for each project.
Balance packability with load requirements
Light fabric may reduce folded bulk, but handles, seams, edge finishing and reinforcement still need to match the intended load. Buyers should test representative contents and repeat the folding sequence during sample review.
Plan branding for open and folded views
Artwork may appear differently when the bag is stored. Define logo positions, colours and labels for both states, and decide whether folding instructions or retail packaging are needed for the intended programme.
