Separate the bag design from the material claim
An RPET sourcing project has two linked workstreams. The bag still needs a functional specification covering dimensions, load, panels, handles, pockets, closures, branding and packaging. Separately, the buyer must define the material identity and evidence required to support any recycled-content or environmental wording.
Benshine’s RPET-category references provide product-development directions. Their names and images are not proof of composition, recycled percentage, certification or suitability for a new order.
Review evidence at the correct scope
A document may describe a material, supplier, facility, batch or transaction. Buyers should check who issued it, who holds it, what it covers, its validity period and whether it supports the proposed finished-product claim. Broad environmental language should not replace that review.
Keep approved claims in the production record
Once material and wording are accepted, record the specification, document references, labels, artwork and packaging together. This gives sourcing, production and marketing teams one controlled basis for later review.
