Choose a cooler bag reference for your project
Start with the format and construction closest to your intended use. These published Benshine styles provide concrete starting points for a custom specification:
- BCB03 polyester cooler bag: the source record lists stonewashed 300D polyester, 5 mm EPE foam and PEVA lining. Use this reference to discuss the outer fabric, padding and lining together; confirm your finished dimensions and sample requirements.
- JA027 non-woven cooler tote: a tote-format reference with non-woven material listed in its record. Confirm the lining, closure, handle construction and logo placement for your promotional or retail brief.
- BE021 cooler backpack: a polyester backpack reference with source-listed dimensions of 38 × 30 × 22 cm. Review the loaded contents and carrying arrangement before approving a custom version.
For a dedicated format, explore lunch bags, cooler backpacks or bottle cooler bags. The reference materials and dimensions describe individual styles, not every bag in this category. Cooling duration, leakage resistance and food-contact suitability require evidence for the proposed finished construction.

Specify a cooler bag as a complete system
The exterior shape is only the visible part of a cooler bag. A workable brief connects the intended contents with the exterior fabric, insulation direction, lining, seam construction, closure, panel support and carrying method. Changing one layer can affect the bag’s feel, usable volume, cleanability, sewing method and quotation.
Benshine’s cooler bag references cover multiple formats rather than one standard construction. A compact lunch bag may prioritize easy opening and daily cleaning. A beverage carrier needs the bottle or can layout defined. A picnic cooler or backpack must account for greater packed weight and a longer carry. Buyers should select a reference by function, then document the required changes.
Keep performance claims measurable
Terms such as insulated, thermal, leakproof and food-grade should not be treated as interchangeable. If temperature retention matters, define the contents, starting temperature, ambient conditions, duration and pass criteria. If leakage control or market compliance matters, define the relevant construction and evidence requirement. This produces a more useful sampling and testing discussion than relying on a broad label.
Control details that are easy to miss
The lid or zipper path, internal corners, handle anchoring, shoulder-strap hardware, base support and branded panels all affect day-to-day use. Packaging may also need to protect the structure without creating unnecessary volume. Put these decisions in the approved brief so the sample, quotation and quality checkpoints refer to the same product.
Compare OEM, private-label and wholesale cooler bags on one specification
For an OEM order, send your tech pack or a reference with the changes required. For private-label development, include logo artwork, labels, colours and packaging. Benshine reviews the proposed construction and project scope with you before the sample and production brief are finalized. You can review the Xiamen workshop and equipment and quality-control process alongside the product references.
For wholesale evaluation, compare the same cooler format and thermal test conditions. A lower or higher quoted price may reflect different insulation layers, lining, hardware, branding or pack-out rather than the same product.
Treat cooler totes as an insulated carrying format
A cooler tote manufacturer or insulated tote bag manufacturer brief combines a tote-style carrying format with a buyer-defined thermal system. JA027 provides an existing non-woven insulated tote direction, while exact lining, insulation, seam, handle and closure requirements remain project-specific.
For a custom insulated bag supplier enquiry, state the contents, starting condition, route duration, ambient condition and acceptance method. Thermal, leakage, food-contact and cleanability claims require evidence for the proposed complete construction.
